They've been jumping off for 2 years. True Ranger guys never liked the fact they were now owned by the same people who owned Nitro. A lot of Ranger guys went to Phoenix and Basscat because of that.

You'll get your 150 17 footer for a low low price of $49,999.

Bring back the Mean15 or Mean16 with 115 rating like it used to be, and 17 with a 150. Amazing as time went on the bass boat industry went backwards and we the consumers get the shaft. Also Ranger 320,15' 10" had 115 rating. Some of us fish by our selves most of the time, thats all we need, not 50 to 80 thousand dollar rigs. JMBO.

I had a 330v with a 150 on it. It was 16’10” and was only rated for a 140, but it handled the 150 well. That was a quick boat, spinning a 24 Raker on Johnson GT150 with a 6” plate

I had a 17 ft 1989 Pro Craft that had a 150hp yamaha with a 6 inch jackplate. It was a BLAST to drive.

Nope, just don't like the fact that Rangers are going to be squeezed for every cent of profit at the expense of quality and customer service...just like Tracker.

I've owned a 2000 Ranger R83VS, a 2005 Triton Tr20X an now Nitro Z8. All were/are very good boats. Ranger is just insanely expensive for really no reason other than useless fluff.

The 150 is pretty much what put me in a BassCat Margay. A 17-7 boat with a 150 4 stroke that has a dual console and can handle twin talons and 2 people with ease. I don't think a 115 would have cut it.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, the battle lines have clearly been drawn between the Wood family, and the JM family.
