    A winterizing question

Up north here were putting them away already Since I've spent all that money getting new float bowls and rebuilds I got to thinking. Can I crack the bowl plugs and drain all the gas out of them? Is it worth the time and effort? 1999 J150PLEE

My 2 cents, if you have good, treated fuel and fogging oil run throughout the engine, what you suggest would not be necessary.

I just go out every week or 2 and pump the bulb hard to keep fuel in the bowl and not drying up.

some say it is better to keep bowls full so gaskets dont dry out?? others drain carbs fully?? my dad always ran bowls dry at lake before taking boat out of water and never had issues??
