Installing water pressure gauge 1993 90hp Johnson

Not sure exactly how to do this.

My motor has a tell-tale hose and stream. I dont necessarily want to completely do away with that and install the gauge in its place. Is that my only option? I have read that simply "T'ing" into that tube isnt accurate.

Does anyone know my options. I have the gauge, just need to do the install.

Do I have to have the T that screws into the block and send one tube to the tell tale hose and the other to the gauge...or can I just get a 1/8" in-line T and cut the line?

Reason I ask is because I believe I have an inline T already.
