Center step box and seats question

I’d rather have the carpeted box vs the seat because I’ve seen too many seats come apart from wear. The new fiberglass box is very nice. Not sure if bcb will offer it for older models one day.

It sounds like they will, but from what I've read, its an issue of being able to produce them in their current factory. To this point, they havent had the infrastructure to keep up with boat orders (priority) and then produce the box as an aftermarket part. It sounds like it is rather involved to produce them but could be done in their new facility.

I'm not holding my breath. In fact, I've pretty much given up on ever seeing one short of buying a new boat.

The grind 5 ones look really cheesy to me. I wonder if Phoenix sells their center boxes individually? They would look nice in my Cat.

I'm not crazy about the Grind 5 either.

I think I've come to the decision that I'm going to design my own and find someone local to help build it.
