What line are you using on the diablo spec R? Braid or FC?

Either of these work great, but IMHO the Extreme Mission soft tip is 'special' for swim jigs and will absolutely launch one if needed! The Extreme Mission is also a great small (Keitech style) swimbait rod and Senko Rod. I love the Spec Rs for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and walking topwater baits.

I use a modified fast action rod for swim jigs. I picked up a Legend Tournament 7' Sweeper Spinnerbait rod primarily for buzzbaits and larger spinnerbaits. I liked it so much I picked up a 2nd one to use for swim jigs and small swimbaits like Skinny Dippers, etc. around heavy cover. Just a great all around rod. I prefer a mod. fast action rod for swim jigs. Better accuracy and distance, and plenty of power for horsing fish out of cover.
