Buddy has one of these. They seem difficult to use. Better items out there for sure.

Pretty simple actually, just straighten motor, hold in place, lower motor. Nothing exist at any price that does a better job of keeping the motor from moving while trailing.

That doesn't get the weight off the transom. What good is it.? It just saves the hydraulics where a transom saver does both.

Our patented 4 point inline load design eliminates the shock to the lower unit from impact from potholes and supports the motor by eliminating all movement.

The universal design adjust to fit ALL outboard motors that have 1) Accessible lower motor mount flange bolt/heads, 2) Symmetrical transom mounting bracket features (indents, cradles, horizontal bracket holes). Also power tilt is best to hold the device in place without needing to strap down the lower unit. Take a look at https://www.lock-n-haul.com/willitfitmymotor.html to see how it fits.

The ends are manufactured from Delrin which is extremely durable. Outboards that have hex head bolts like the one in the picture above work also. The hex heads actually make an indent in the Delrin and will keep the LnH from sliding up, down, left or right. When installed according to the instructions that are included with the device, it will keep the motor from moving in any direction at all.

When installed according to the instructions it WILL work. If you verify that you have the necessary features on your motor for mounting the device and you cannot figure out how to use it, you can consult with the factory. If you still can't make it work you can return it in original condition for a complete refund.
