    repowering with BF200

    I have a 21' Striper w/a with an Evinrude, 175hp ficht motor. I am considering repowering with a 2017 Honda BF200. There is about 200lbs weight different and I am concern about the boat performance.

    Well I would take the boat out with an extra person and have them get as far back in the boat as they can get (safely) and see how it performs. It will be a little slower than the Rude.

    What is the max HP for the boat, can you run a 225 on it?

    The max horsepower for the boat is 200hp.
