Saw it as high as 52 yesterday in the backs of some of the creeks. Caught a bunch of largemouth on a spinnerbait with that warm muddy water coming in.

I can get down on some green fish. I'll take anything at this point. What was the main lake like? Upper 40's / clear?

I did not check on the main lake at all. Was just there for the green ones after all that rain. I kill them this time of year after a big rain. We did not have any big ones but had lots in the 2.5 to 4 lb range. Probably caught 40 to 50 Largemouth. Hopefully we will get more rain here the next couple of days and can do it again this weekend.

Taking friday off to fish. Should I go to Dale Hollow, Center Hill or Percy Priest? What is the water temp at DH? I'm guessing the water will be stained at any of the 3, with all the rain we're getting today and tomorrow.

There is a bfl on dale this sat. May have boats everywhere Friday depending on where you fish.

I'm not opposed to catching LM but I will stay on the lower end anyway.

For the most part it sucked for me Friday. I caught 2 fish, I caught 2 keepers 1 LM and 1 over Smallie. 21.5" 5lbs even. Water temp was 50*. I never went past 1st island.

I was surprised Friday whether I was in the clear water or stained, the temp was the same.

Was 53 again today. Had a good crankbait bite going till the sun popped out. Caught a pile of fish after that, but all were short.

Have any of you boys been doing any good this year so far? I’m thinking about heading to horse creek in the morning. First trip to Dale since the spring!

Fished Monday the 10th, Put in at Hendricks. Water was 50-52. High sky had them stuck on bottom which was fine with me. Caught about 10 fish with 1 over, 21 1/32" 4-11oz. Swim baits and jigs.

I haven’t fished Dale Hollow in years. We used to do pretty well slow rolling a Bomber Long A when th water temps were about 50 degrees. Has anyone tried slow cranking one of them off the points and secondary points on the lower end of the lake?

Starting to wonder if last year was a fluke because fishing was the best I've seen it in the 7-8 years I've been going there or if it's just the higher water level right now. Fishing is considerably slower this year than last.
