    Why not a 720?

If the 721 is the best selling model and the 920 seems to also be very popular... why not a 720? A 20' footer rigged similar to the 721 with a NAP around $50 to 52k?

Or even an 820 which is something between those selling for mid 50s?

Sounds like great selling boat models.

Why would anybody want an 81 foot long bass boat?

Every year or two Phoenix comes out with a new rig. They are still fairly new in the bass boat world so I'm sure they are always working on updating or building new rigs.

If they could build a 20' boat with a 225 for around 50K it would sell like crazy. Something similar to the Skeeter ZX225. But better cuz it's a Phoenix

You know how people in the bass boat world are. We don't have 20' boats. Those 4" separate the men and the boys.

You can get a 920 with a 225, the 919 is really close, and the 721 is just a few more thousand. That's a lot of boats in that range already.

Well a 721 will not fit in my garage. A 920 "might" but it is a whole lot more money. A 919 will fit so I am trying to decide between a 919 and a Caracal. But... the price of the 721 makes it very attractive if it were only a tiny bit shorter.

The prices I have been quoted for the 919 or Caracal are about the same as the NAP of the 721. Mid 50s. I have fished out of a 721 and was very impressed with handling and ride.

Id like the PHX 20 and 21 with the long rod locker on the drivers side still, instead of copying ranger skeeter and everyone else with the little day box or whatever that is supposed to be on those.. I like my 920 but not the two lids for the center compartments.

I haven't looked lately but the 721 was the same as length as a 920 on the trailer. I will say, I was pretty nervous when I ordered my 721. I measured and measured and I knew I was within 4 inches or so of fitting. Luckily I measured right

Interesting. Looking at a few pics it looks like the trailer breaks out in front of the bow a few inches on a 920 but breaks under the bow on a 721. Probably the same trailer?

My garage is only 20- 8" deep but I am backing the engine into a boxed in bumpout 60" wide. So I am really only limited by the hull and whatever trailer sticks out in front of the bow. My Ranger hull will back into that 60" opening about 5" due to the tapered transom. I don't think the Phoenix boats taper very much so I am guessing they will not fit.

I personally think it is the same trailer but that's just me, I really don't know. The tounge does break even with the bow on the 721.
I remember you talking about your garage. The phoenix doesn't taper like the ranger so it will only be jackplate and motor that sticks in the hole. I will pull some measurements when I get home this evening, which at the moment sounds like it may be kind of late.

I read my own posts about the small garage and what I am doing to try and shoe horn a bigger boat in there and it makes me laugh a little... A guy will do about anything to gain a few inches I guess.

I measured mine and from the back edge of the boat to the tounge your looking at 21'1" or 21'2". Those would be TIGHT measurements. I would want another 2" just to be sure

I had my garage built to be 30 feet longer.

Oh yea, if or when I get another house or build one, storage won't be an issue. The goal is to not even have to unhook when I pull in. If that doesn't happen the garage or shop will be big enough for whatever I feel like putting in there.
