Puma with Talons
Just installed my second 12' Talon on 2005 Puma w/225XS with 25 Fury 3 blade and wanted a couple of ideas on how low should the bottom of talons sit in water at rest and where did you set jackplate for optimum performance (hole shot, top end)?

I put mine where I thought they should be and ran the boat with a heavy load. If they are too low, you will see them spray water a little. Just raise them until they don't grab the water when trimmed up and running.

They get set flush with the bottom of the bracket as per the install manual.
