It looks like an XOB but with a cast in flare instead of a flare ring welded on. I think I remember talk a while back that the new XOB is built this way now. I could be all wrong though.

jr, how does it run on your boat? Any idea of a comparison to an older style XOB?

Craig, this was originally one of my props. It ran 90.5 at 6000 rpms via 1.75 gears on my 2+2. It has cup added to the prop so that it doesn't slip out of the hole like it did when I got it originally. Jay ran it 92 on his Allison and I forget what Geoff ran with it and his 300 but I'm pretty sure it was north of 95

Just curious what does new style mean? Define new for me. I got a new 31 XOB this spring and it had a welded on ring. At that time there were no 28 to 30 pitch props available. So do they have them in stock now? Jr I know you will sell this one but on the outside chance you don’t when I get 600 bucks scraped together I will get back to you. Everybody says that’s the prop to run so I need to try one.

This is the Hydro I used in this thread. http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=855806

great runner on the top end. At the time it could use some help on the mid range and holeshot to run well on my boat. Out ran all the 30p props that day by 2mph. Ran more like a 32. Just took a long time to hit speed.

I ran it 97.4 with the troller behind the driver seat and on fumes. It ran 97 with the troller on the bow and 3/4 tank. All runs with a full fishing load. Was very stable at speed. The first pull with it was 96. I texted Nathan I couldn’t believe the boat was running that fast. It was smooth. I haveother fast props that require a lot of driving. This one doesn’t.

YES IT DRIVES REALLY GOOD. I drove it to 88.7 on my sterling . just a tad to big for me.. I could have it down pitch to a 29 pitch . but it drive so easy I hate to mess it up..

Sorry, didn’t see there are duplicate posts. I have a 30p Bravo 1 and a 28p Hydro that I would consider trading. Does this Hydro have a full length flare or has it been cut down? Also, any repair numbers stamped on the barrel?
