If memory serves me correctly, the 21HP is the older high performance original TR hull. It will flat out fly!

If you are talking recent 21 HP vs. today's 21 TRX....I believe they are supposed to be the same?!?
They are not the same deck, TRX21 is bigger!
My team partner has a 21Trx I have a 21hp. We fish out of both equally and I truthfully can't tell the difference. The front deck may be a bit wider but moving around the boat feels the same. Wider step cooler, center rod storage are noticable.My front middle locker is full of spare life jackets, rain gear ext. Harder to access. Performance wise..... very similar.
Is there a difference between the 21hp and the 21xhp? I know through out the years the deck size increased. Is the overall weight the same? My 21xhp is listed as 1840lbs.
There is no doubt the 21trx is wider than the HP but the biggest difference is the width at the bow. It doesn't come to as sharp point at the bow like the HP.mthey did this to have a wider area to flush mount a 12 in the bow. I've had both boats and it was noticeably different. Supposed to be the same hull but deck space an layout is different.
Make sure you trim the bush and the deck will look bigger.
