    Verado Life

I have owned a 2008 250 Verado and had well over 1400 Hrs. I have friends with over 2000 Hrs and have heard of 5000+.
Any Merc Techs that can give and honest answer expect hours on a Verado ?

    Thanks

It's impossible to accurately guess how long an engine will last..... There are simply too many variables. The biggest ones are service history and the manner in which the engine was operated. That being said, the Verado is an excellent engine platform and it is not all uncommon to see them run several thousand hours when properly maintained.

I have 2 water taxis with Verado's. Both over 8k hrs. They have each had a gearcase and one supercharger but original power heads. Mostly idle time though

Not at all uncommon to see Verado's with 3000-4000 hours on them. Starting to hear of more like 21xTriton05's as time passes (that's a LOT of running).
