If you just bought a MEGA 10 used off ebay I beleive you just got burned

Was following a buy it now ebay auction with what was advertised as a lightly used MEGA 10. Guy only had 3 other transactions with i think all positive reviews. Did not have pics of the actual unit so I messaged him asking for pics and he sent me a link to a craigslist add with the supposed pics. He even offered to make a video of it in action. I reviewed the pics and it was indeed a Helix 10 but the sticker showed it was only a G2 unit. I responded by asking additional questions earlier but noticed the listing has since been removed.

It was a buy it now auction so if anyone bought it I hope you used paypal. Or maybe he pulled it realizing he made a mistake or figured it was busted. Who knows

There is no such model as a G2 Helix 10. There is a Helix 10 and a Helix 10 G2N series, nothing in-between.

Yup. I was considering that unit provided it was an actual MEGA unit. Of course I wasnt going to buy until I saw pics and thats when things went south. Guy had a good story about selling his truck and boat and had no use for it. Wonder if it was a scam or someone actually bought it. The buy it now was 1200 and there was of course the offer option which is what I would have tried.

Don't forget the value of the 2 year warranty you would not get buying it used. If someone does buy used, be aware of the no transfer on the warranty. The flat fix price should be subtracted at a minimum even if the unit never got turned on. Ebay is a good safe place to buy if you use some street sense. Paypal using your credit card gets you an assurance of fair play. Bob

That $1200 is MSRP for H9MSI, the H10MSI has an MSRP of $1699.

I sure agree on the artificially inflated prices - I guess some don't know any better ... most of us didn't just fall off the turnip truck!

The H10MDI is $1299. That is one I found listed on ebay with a $1975 "list" price attached to it. Here's another one...only $1346.55..."You save $594.44"...yeah, right

I have a tendency to forget the MDI units have come into the mix
They are indeed $1299 MSRP and I wouldn't mind one at the wheel... Lol
I've been wishing for one under the tree, but money has been tight lately and unless I get off the "naughty list" I'm probably going to be running the old 859 ciHD DI for a while longer...

Lol. Digging the new H10MSI. Awesome pics and really liking all the new three screen displays. Add to it the extra colors for the displays and I'm a very happy camper.
