    Thanks again DREWTICK!!
    The Factory 6" bolt is too short due to the thicker end caps and most suppliers only carry whole sizes above 5" the prefect length is 6 1/2" and I was cutting them myself but that became to time consuming. You can saw it off just be sure to taper the end on a grinder and smooth the first threads.

    I can get the bottom roller but I have to buy a dozen at a time . if I had a few people interested I would consider ordering a case, I will get a price.

    call me crazy but I think I may have a 7 and here is what I did. I put a new nu on down to where the roller is but not too much pressure. Then I took the original locking nut and put it on tight;;; so two nuts. This way I can put the first nut on finger tight and let the rollers actually roll. The outer nut makes sure I don't loose anything.

    a roller that roles is a huge step forward in easy loading.

    yep I included the thicker lock nut to take up some of the extra threads but defiantly leave them loose enough to spin,

    UPS just dropped off another Case of Rollers today

    Lets see if we can get some people interested. I'm sure we have at least 12 on here that would want them. Also, aren't the front and back lower rollers the same size? if that's the case we would only need 6 takers.

    I HAVE to ask;

    Why replace the lower rollers? That's what the bunks do.

    You are correct but I have two places I fish that when launching the boat I hit the first roller. The launch is short and drops off fast.
    And personally I like the look of them all matching.

    Yes, on the steep ramp at my local lake I figure the front roller is contacted by the front keel, maybe, but none others on any other bass boat I've owned. I've owned 4 different types of hull designs, and never wore out or damaged a roller. I'll have to check to see if I can tell for sure on the 2 trailers in the garage, one is the Marine Master - 3 years old, the other is the Ranger that is 30 years old, that I've had for 29 years. The other 2 boats are long gone.

    The Ranger trailer doesn't even have a front roller, only the one at the rear most cross member, that is used for the motor toter. It has no marks on it from any contact of the keel.

    The Marine Master trailer roller in the front has no marks from any contact from the keel.

    And yes I do understand wanting/liking all the 'stuff' looking the same/matching.

    This is one of the best things I have done is change this roller.
    The only problem I have now is the boat wants to roll back down off it before I can get up there to latch the strap when I am alone. No biggie though.
