    Buying a boat. Opinions please.

Two boats that are coming from good buddies.
First is a 2009 bee line with a 250 proxs that has 70 hours on it. Dual axle trailer. Boats 21 foot.
Second is a 2009 ranger with a 200 pro Xs has 125 hours on it. Single axle trailer. It’s a 19 foot boat.

The bee line is 20000 dollars
    the ranger is 23000 dollars.

Both boats electronics will need to be upgraded. Both rigs are just trailers boats and motors. With outdated electronics.

My Ranger hits 72 gps loaded for a tx. Maybe my 200 and boat combo is an exception. Bee is a fast boat but I like the fishing platform of the Ranger.
Pick the one you like best and enjoy it.

Ranger will have a lot better resale value down the road.

You might want to think about trailers. Single axle trailers can be moved in driveway a lot easier, cost of tires is 1/2 od tandem, maintenance can be cheaper.

Tandem trailer is good to have for long trips and rides better. Stuff don't take a beating on road as much as single axles.

    Just a thought.

As for boats I'd simply choose the one that offers best storage for my stuff. Fishing platform would be more important than speed or brand, to me.

If you ever need a replacement part for the boat or trailer, and you most likely will. Seat covers, decals, trailer pins etc. The Ranger is the only way to go.

The "smaller" Ranger will have a bigger deck.

I’d go Ranger. Nothing against Bee Line but Ranger is just better known. Both will get you on the water though.

I'd go Bee... Bigger boat, more horsepower, dual axle... You can replacement part for boat and trailer aftermarket... Dan

I'd go Bee too. I've always thought they were underrated boats. I looked at a 19 footer that was an '08 or '09 (whatever the first year the guys from Phoenix were building them) and I thought the finish was really nice. I don't like a single axle on any boat bigger than 18' either.

I would look hard at the bee line for the above reasons.

If you are going to keep it awhile, I'd get Bee.

Take them both out for a ride, stop and take time to put the trolling motor down, then choose the one that best fits your feel.

Biggest question is do you want a 21 foot boat or a 19 foot boat both rigs are great, with ride going to the bee. I have a 19'6 boat it fits my needs better than a 21 foot boat.
