    797 vs 496?

What's the differences? Went to the plant years ago, love the 496, my brother owned a 596, but I've never seen a 797.

So which is faster and which is more "stable" at high speeds. Owned Champions and Skeeters but I am look to switch to a 797. Also, could you tell me the length of a 797 trailer and boat / motor with the tongue swung away? Any advise / input you could give would be greatly appreciated!

    797 Boat Length on Trailer

    Full Length: * * * 26’0″
    Swing Away Tongue: * * * 23’10”

Then add for motor and jackplate you will have to look up the dimensions of the motor of your choice. Since Charger will hang what motor you choose they do not list dimensions with a motor.

If I was buying new 797 would be the boat .Its wide ,stable and runs strong mid 70s with 250 maybe high 70s with 300 loaded. If you want a smaller boat than the 496/210 would be perfect. Not that these are skinny just not as big as the 797.

Problem with the 797 is you’ll find you are carrying WAY to much stuff. Tons of room, and a HUGE front deck!!!

It's 26' without the motor and jackplate? That seems awfully long for a 21'4" boat. Not trying t question you but wanting to make sure I would fit in my garage. Do you know the width of the trailer? Thanks!!

The 797 by "my" measurement is 102 inches from fender to fender. I think 103" in the legal max for a trailer. The 797 is a wonderful boat.

I got the dimensions from the Charger website so I would think they are accurate. After every boat is the list of options then a little lower is the boat lenght on trailer.

I believe 26 is with the tongue locked out. fold it back and you knock off 2-3 ft.
