1995 javelin 379

picked up the boat today and took her out for her maiden voyage. had a fellow clubmember/friend with me to give me lessons since i've never driven a bass boat. man, was it fun!!! we even got a chance to fish a little ---- 4 fish in 4 hours. not a super hot day fishing but it was meant as a chance for me to learn about the boat.

can't wait to get out again!

i finally found the plate with the model on it. it IS a 1995 379T.

still looking for a manual, if anyone has one. i'd be happy to pay someone for the copying, if that's the case.

btw ---- luvin' the boat! took my son (16) out for his first trip this last sunday. he kept saying, "i can't believe we have a bassboat! i can't believe we have a bassboat!" what a hoot.

Here are a few of my old one, miss it every day. 1993 model 379T. I have a few more I can post if you need them, but these are the best I have.

Yep them Javelins and the 60* Eagle motors were a match made in heaven same with the Stratos 285's of that vintage. Fun to drive, very responsive to the wheel, cheap to run and easy to maintain! I sure hate OMC went under and the boat group collapsed. Only issue I have with the Javelins is under the top cap running new stuff. Need Leather gloves. Truly a Hull designed to run with a OMC motor. ! And boy would it. The 400's will run with a 3.0L V6 John/rude on them too.

Agree with that on the 400. Here is what I have now. 74 light and 68 full tournament load.

Here is BR200's 1995 379 with a 115 Faststike. My Dad bought it new in 1995 at Licolnton Marine on Clark Hill. It went to BR200 when my Dad passed away in 2006.
Well, we sold two Javlelins to buy a 2008 Bass Cat...I think Grandpa would be OK with that.

Do you know if and when javelin boats were all composite? Looking at a 1995, should be a 409 model and want to know if there is any wood in it.

Change was made around '98-'99. A '95 model will have wood in it.
