You & me both. She runs her mouth but can drive a race car. Not much more than a middle of the pack racer but that buts her ahead of about 15-20 other guys each race. NASCAR will miss her.
The interview as she came out of the infield care center was tough to watch. She appeared to be a beaten down person, and I feel terrible for her, but at the same time I'm glad she's come to the realization that she can't do it and it's time to move on. There can be greatness in admitting defeat, and she's certainly shown that. She may not have been successful as a NASCAR driver, but her determination and desire to defy the odds is pretty remarkable and makes her a very admirable competitor, and worthy of mention in the NASCAR history books.
Those 15 or 20 behind her get a free pass cause they are men. If one or more of them win a race it would seem normal, but if she had won one or two the NASCAR fans of the top 10 drivers would have went into a kiniption fit!!
I really do not watch much racing at all so forgive me. But did she ever win anything?

Evidently the other drivers didn't get the message about how talented of a driver she is and how she used to beat all the boys in Go Kart Races from her BBC Fan Club..... She probably should have shown them her financial statement before the race.
