    This was scary

    Cutting a 3" hole in the LW lid



    Worth it in the end. Got my vents installed


    Triton 19 XS Elite, 225 Mercury Pro XS, Minn Kota Ultrex 112, Hydrowave H2, Twin 8' Power Pole Blades, Power Pole CHARGE, Lowrance HDS 12 and 16 at console, Lowrance HDS 9, Garmin LiveScope at bow, Mercmonitor, Rigid Industries Deck lights and other stuff to come that will make me go more broke

    I dont have those vents i have had fish in my 2000 tr20 when the temp got to 91 had the lw on recirculate and they were just fine, to each his own.

    I'm sure they work and you did a good job installing them. I've looked into doin this but have yet (knock on wood) lost a fish in XS or trx rigs.mi honestly belie they have the best livewell system in the business,

    I can't see cutting 6" worth of lid out either. I like reversable mods if at all possible. If not it takes some soul searching for me. Lol

    You won't see me adding those vents. I won't call them a "scam" but they are damn close!

    If you catch fish often enough you will be opening the lid frequently enough.

    ^^^ hahaha well thats my problem. They do not open enough. I was in the mood for change this week. I Also got some new wheels and tires for the Triton puller.... the scary pary was shelling out the money

    What do yall think?

    Thank you sir. I was a litte worried how the tires would look. My old tires were 38.5 x14.5. These tires are 38 x 15.5.

    Oh yea, those tires will give that rig a great looking speckled effect from rocks and gravel. It looks good though

    Love the vents...I have them as well. Why so scary cutting the holes? The lids are replaceable. Now when you go cutting out the deck for a foot tray that's a different story

    It's got oxgenators in the live well system to keep the fish alive doesn't it? Do they explain how pushing hot air into the live well helps keep them alive.
