    SX TRANSOM

    Hi guys !

    Anyone know why some SX boats had jackplates installed at the factory and some had transom mounted motors and factory said warranty would be void if a plate was installed ?

    My old boat was a 2005 SX 190....I personally never saw one from factory with a jp....I had dealer install mine.....never had any issues.....at that time I did hear that if the dealer installed jp there wasn't any warranty issues.....
    YOU are not entitled to what I have earned!!!!!

    same here. My 07 has a 5.5 Bob's on it with a monster 150HPDI VMAX yammy hanging off it. Never any issues, no cracks, not even in the gelcoat. Not sure who installed it though, most likely a dealer.
