    S-Glass or composite for crankbaits?

What do you prefer and why S-Glass or the Composite (S-Glass tip with a carbon fiber backbone)?

composite. Tend be a little more balanced. They still load up well in the cast but not as of a noddle as some of the glass blanks.

I'm not much of a Skeet Reese fan, but I love his cranking rods. I loose less fish with those than any rod I've ever used with a crank bait..

I would go with the S-Glass .. just my preference.. You get more reflection and quicker
deflections from a solid glass rod.. Equals more forgiveness on hooksets and aids more in fighting
    a treble hooked fish..

I really like the glass/graphite blended rods for heavier applications and the full glass rods for really light balsa baits.
