    1159 Mount Knobs Loose

I need some help with my bow mounted 1159. I'm constantly tightening the mounting knobs otherwise my 1159 will bounce between the teeth built into the unit. Any thoughts on finding a solution would be great.

Do you have a rubber washer between the knob and the mount? Bob

I do have rubber washers but they are original from Humminbird. Do you suggest getting measurements and find some replacements from the hardware store?

same thing happened to my 999 this year, there is a threaded part for the nob, it is molded into the unit, i probably over tightened mine and pulled it out, some plastic weeder glue has fixed mine

I didn't consider the internal sleeve. Let me check that as well.

I use RAM MOUNT locks on both my Helix 9, and my 899. The RAM MOUNTS have the locks also. I did pull out the sleeves when I first used it. But glued them back in. I have as of yet to have a sonar get loosen up. And the locks give me a bit of extra theft proofing.
