    Ice ducer vs regular ducer...

    So I guess I am asking the experts on this one.
    I use my 798 for both open and ice water fishing. Is there any benefit to using the ice ducer over the regular ducer under winter conditions?? I used the normal ducer last year with no issues. Just curious I f the ice ducer is that much better.

    No difference in performance.
    The ice ducer is shaped different so it will " hang in the hole".
