Ulterra 60" to 45" conversion options?

I've read through some previous posts that it's not possible to shorten the shaft on an Ulterra.
Are there any other conversion options to make a 60" into a 45"?
Wish my dealer would have outfitted me with the 45" now that I've been out on the water many times.

Unless you want to take a hit on the pocket book no. Here is what I am talking about. Minn Kota says it can not be done. That is what we tell customers. I am sure it is more than cutting the shaft, replacing the belt, and changing the board. I am an ASC and Minn Kota highly advises not to do this.
Best bet is to sell what you have and get the right length.
