    Dale Hollow turn over

Just heard from a friend that the lake is starting to turn. I've been going down for quite a few years and turn over doesn't usually happen until mid Dec. Does anybody know if there is any truth to it? Not that it changes my plans of being there Thanksgiving weekend, just found it a little odd.Could we be a couple weeks ahead of schedule? On a side note, never really done that well on turn over, my approach this year will be a little different. I've usually just ran the lake up looking for clearer water. In your opinion does the turn over just simply scatter the fish with a lot being shallower? My plans are if I have the opportunity to fish it,just try to fish a little shallower.
    thanks Tom

I find it hard to believe with 60 degree water. No mention of it from Dale Hollow Dave that fishes it every day.

Caught some Largemouth yesterday on a Jerkbait. Had a couple of pretty good ones. Had a few smallies too. Not a bad day the water temp was 60.

Just got back last night, fished the lower end and had an ok trip.We had some healthy slot fish.Going back to my original post, did anyone notice the water clearity on the lower end? Now I know what he was talking about, the water looked like tea. Definetly not the hollow I'm familiar with.I've been going for roughly 25 years or so (mostly winter) and I've seen turn over.Never at this temp 58 or so. Could anyone shed some light on this.
and by the way if you went over the weekend how'd you do

I did see some foamy water early each morning as I headed out in mid lake. Other than that everything was green and clear where I fished. It wasn't great but we did alright. Wish it was colder, thats for sure.

I thought about making a run north but didn't. Maybe should have.Pretty much fished Mitchel and down.
We stayed at cedar, the dock which is typically vary clear normally all kinds of fish under the dock and you can see all the way to the bottom. The water looked like the water down in Florida, brackish I think it's called. You couldn't see a foot down.
