    Question Another Prop post......

    Phoenix experts, need your help:

619/Merc 200/24 Fury......like to get another prop and keep one as a spare on board......trying to figure out if i should find a 25 Fury, get worked or get another 24 and get it worked up to a 25....i can currently spin the 24 up to 5750+/- ..... if find current 24 handles great, maybe a little slow on take off but no other issues.....hoping to look for a little more speed....

By the way i have a 27 Tempest Plus i would even trade with someone with like condition for 24 Fury or 25 Fury depending on which one i go with....

one of my friends is in a 2014 619 and he runs a 25 fury, he is bumping 70 and 68 when warmer, I think he needs a 24 for summer but he has run the same stock 25 sense boat was new.

If you're interested I may trade you my 25 for your 24? I carry way too much stuff in my boat and in the summer I think a 24 would do me good. I'll even let you try it out before we do a deal if you want. I've been running my 25 tempest on my boat anyway for over a year.

If you use Croxton, he told me he doesn't like to down-pitch a prop, tho he will.
Best to get another 24 and have him bump it up in pitch.
You may not need to all the way up to 25, maybe 24.75 or something like that. He will know when he sees your numbers.
I found this out when I had him take a 26 t1 down to 25.6 and had to send back for tweeking.

Well that's my plan first....i plan on sending my current 24 to Brian (previous board sponsor) to get it worked....talked to him yesterday and will have some pitch/cup added to it and see how it goes.....i'm new to all this prop stuff and dont want to mess anything up....

Vausoner, i'm gonna keep my 24, i need to trade/get rid of the 27 that i have.....
