how is the rod storage on this boat? just trying to find out everything i can before i drive to mo sat to look at it.

I have that boat in single console and it has dual cables just carpet in rod storage no tubes
Tubes won't work in the Rod storage on these boats. Rod socks work great though. My 2000 R20 came standard with Hydro steer but I will have to check to see if it was standard on the 18. The Renegade was a cab forward type design meaning a smaller deck up front than most others in the same size. The cockpit has a ton of room and the back deck is generally larger than others in the same size. They are nice boats though and run great. Hopefully the owner is up front and truthful with you about any issues it may have before going to look at it. Get lots of pics up close from all sides if you can before making the trek

I have a 2000 renegade 18 and I love it. It's only a single console though. Carbed Johnson 150 with a 4 blade renegade prop.
