    4-bank charger

    Hey guys,

I am upgrading from a 24V to 36V system in my boat and am going to buy a new 4 bank charger also. Wondering what my best and/or cheapest option is on brands of chargers. I've only ever heard of MinnKota and Sportsman chargers just want to see where the best deal is.

    Thanks!

    Both of these are good.

I stay away from MK chargers know after one boiled a battery, and another that just had nothing but issues.

I use Promariner Prosport currently 3bank (not sure if they have 4bank in that version though),

My buddies have had good luck with NOCO also.

The type (AGM, wet) and brand of batteries that you intend to charge would be factors to look at in choosing a charger also. With Dual Pro (Sportsmen or Pro Series) or Minn Kota (PC series), both high quality, you would be able to charge all of the popular wet and AGM batteries for a bass boat application. Lithiums might be an exception, but I am not familiar with their charger compatibilities.

    I purchased a Noco Gen 3 4 bank a couple months
ago. First bank went out within 2 weeks. The remaining 3 died within a month. I returned it and went back to Minn Kota.
