Question on adding fuel stabilizer for storage

I always add Quickare ethanol treatment every time I put fuel in my boat. I will be adding Marine Stabil to the fuel for storage. My question, since Stabil has ethanol treatment already in it, is it necessary to add Quickare to the new fuel I will be using to top off my tank? Thanks

I asked about the merc- quick care, quick clean, quick store combination and they said, use the amounts listed for each bottle, so relatively tripling the amount. And someone recently asked about the difference in stabil vs quick store, and I don't remember the difference but the answer was to use merc product.

You're not tripling the amount... the three products all do/serve a different purpose. IF quick store isn't available you can use Stabil or another fuel stabilizer. See the notes for winterizing your Opti and read up on Don's cocktail. Its recommended you run this additive in every tank of fuel.

Quickare & Quickleen in EVERY tank, 1oz per 5 gallons of each product.

QUICKSTOR is for extended storage, use per bottling instructions.

Can you tell me how long of time is considered extended storage? First time owner. Thanks

I believe if the engine is going to sit for longer than 45 days its recommended to use the quickstor.

My Quickare says 1 oz per 10 gallons. Why do you recommend doubling it?

Because that is the ratio at which we found the greatest benefits in terms of cleanliness of the fuel system and combustion chambers.
