The one that has the details YOU want where you want it.

You can download the coverage list from the Humminbird Lakemaster site and can view the current Navionis maps on their site's Web App.

If it’s an inland lake and lakemaster covers it odds are that is your best bet They have some great maps

You also get more map features/options with the lakemaster compared to the Navionics
(zoom, depth offset and if you have a I-Pilot Link TM this opens up even more features)

If you’re fishing great lakes or coastal water Navionics is more likely your better choice

You can see what lakes Navionics has and what the maps look like at their web app

    https://webapp.navionics.com/?lang=e...key=kvibGzsmzN

Click the round logo bottom left and select Sonar Charts to see the maps that are available for newer units

    Navionics for several reasons:

    1) largest database of mapping- means more lakes are covered throughout the country.
    2) They add over 2000 new map details and updates daily, resulting in the most up to date data.
    3) Works with all units, so if you switch brands you will have a card that will work with anything.
    4) You can easily record logs and add to their SonarChart maps.

Go to their WebApp to look at the maps they have for your local lakes:

    Just my two cents.

If Lakemaster has your lake HD mapped it would be better .... and you can do things like water level offset that doesn't work with Navionics.

The locations I have looked at are not HD and are sort of like the ContourXD.

Check the Humminbird website to make sure the lakes you fish are in HD for Lakemaster, but I have found it to be wayyyyy more accurate than Navionics
