    Speed may vary but as long as you have the green circle around your boat it’s mapping. I think I’ve been up to 6mph.

    Saved to a memory card. Units do not have a hard drive. The software is stored in internal memory.

    Manual speaks to the speed limitation on the high end. Doesn't impact me as I have a TM only. Think I was in the 3 mph range for most of the recording. Shows a green field that is being recorded. I stayed inside the edges of that just to make sure. It does a good job. Several passes would be better of course.

    With my GT15 thru hull transducer did a big circle at 30+mph and got contour lines!! Surprised me.

    Mapping at high speed works well on gradual slopes but produces errors on fast drop offs.
