    Talon mount question?

Currently have a CMC powerlift 5.5” Jackplate. I have 2 12’ talons and trying to figure out if Jackplate mounts are possible or if I have to get sandwich style plates? Thanks Coach

Don’t see how you can…The bushings and slide cutout will take up to much room to mount the jackplate bracket. If you have an older CMC with the outside pump I don’t think you will be able to mount one on the port side at all...even with the sandwich mount.

I don't remember the bolt size on the Powerlift, but if it's 1/2" bolts (3/4" head), it will / should mount. You will remove the bolts, one side at a time and replace with the bolts that come with the Talon.

I have a 13 yr old CMC 5.5" manual jack plate and the side bolts are 3/4". The Talon bracket holes are 1/2". I had to install a sandwich bracket.
