Bigger props are needed with 1.75. 28s reach limiter in less than 30’seconds with 1.75 in good water

I know you have heard this enough but you really need a sporty.

But if you are on the limiter with a 28 bravo, a 30 bravo, 30 promax, 30 xob, etc should do the trick.

Yea, one day I’ll find a sporty ( that I can afford).

I ran a 30 Bravo, it was on the limiter.

The bravo is easier to turn typically, they also seem to like it a tad lower. It would be interesting to see how a 30 promax would run.

I have a 1.62:1 3.0L Sportmaster with one hour of run time for $4,500.00.

I also have a used one for $3,000.00 if anyone is interested.

Dang it Lee, your killin me. I’d love to have one, it’s just not in the budget right now.

Dan. It drives good to 80. After 80 and trim 7.5 and up it gets real loose. I’m sure I could get a few more mph but I’m not pushing it, don’t really care to find out what’s gonna make it turn loose.

With sportmaster 65-75 is the less fun to drive speed and 80+ is nice and easy

If you can find someone in your neck of the woods with a 1.62 sporty they will let you bolt on, and a 28 hydro, TXP, or Bravo, in just a few minutes of ramp time you could be ready to run and see what the difference is. I can tell you without a doubt that you will see a world of difference that you will fall in love with. Even if you don't have the means to get a sporty right now, knowing the end result would make it easier to be patient as you find a good trade for your lower and pay some difference perhaps. Or get Lee to finance his? LOL

With a 250 the experts say 1.75's are better unless you're only about top speed..

Course they also said my 90.4 @ 6070 with 1.75's and my 28 Promax is also impossible lol
