    z-20 livewell lights

Getting ready to install my Bluewaters in there. Curious if anyone's done same on their Z-20 or z-21 and has any tips on where they drilled into wells to run wiring. Any photos you can share would also help
    Thanks

I have (2) 4 led Blue waters in my each of my Z9 livewells and as far as I am concerned they are useless. You cannot see anything on a sunny day or really any day. The work great at night.

Out of curiousity, why would you need lights in your livewell during the day? Wouldn’t they be needed strictly for night fishing?

so I can see the fish, my live wells are a grey color and all I see when I open them is darkness.

I learned quickly that the light needed to mounted down low and in the water.
Not above the water, water reflects light!

Hard to see the fish, even at night if not in the water.

You are correct!!!! Nice Save!!!! Nothing worse than drilling holes in live wells and find out later they are in the wrong spot.

i mounted mine about 4-6 inches from the bottom, worked great for 2 years now... 3m tape has come off of 1 with those big girls thrashing around in there but is an easy fix.
