What Hours/Time intervals do you recommend changing the fuel filter on the same engine stated in this post. Thanks

Low pressure filter and Water Separating Cannister: Once per year, or every 100 hours of operation, whichever occurs FIRST.

OK, gotta ask, can those components be changed out by the mechanically challenged? Are special tools needed? Where can they be found on the engine?

I should have bought a book that had all this info, but, well, I decided to wet a hook instead.

Low pressure filter is readily accessible... and should be covered in the engine Owner's Manual.

Water Separator should be mounted between the fuel tank and the engine, location varies depending on who rigged it (and where they decided it should be).

    Neither is really difficult.
