    Seal screw holes on transom

Bought new electronics for the boat. Before pulling old transducer off wanted to know a good way to seal the screw holes on a tin boat, Triton 18TX.

3M 5200, it is permanent and won’t break down like silicone.

Sillycone leaves residue you can really only get off with acetone, is a temporary fix. What AndyNegus94 said or 4200 if you need to remove later ! If you want forever use fiberglass resin, and microfiber, as long as there is no moisture !

Tig weld the holes at a welding shop or JB weld yourself.
