    1.0 vs 2.0

What's the difference with the old and new? Can the older Pro 2 be upgraded?

Give me a call I would be happy to explain the differences. The pre 2.0 models can not be upgraded no, as there is not a retrofit kit yet for the real hydraulic hoses of the new 2.0 models. The 2.0 is a totally different operating frequency as well, it is why a 2.0 model pole and a 1.0 model are not compatible. If your looking to match your existing 1.0 model pole we can special order/ and have Power Pole build you a 1.0 model, if you provide your serial # off your old pole.

Just wondering! I have a pair of pro II's that are working fine but I keep shearing the 5/16" bolts that attach the u-channels to the hydraulic rams.
3 in 1 year....was thinking of going to grade #8 bolts!

I've talked with Todd several times on the issue. He sends me bolts and washers but no suggestions other than keeping the bolts tight. I think galvanized grade #8 should fix the problem!
