I'm in the market for a new boat and I absolutely love my atratos. I wouldn't think twice to go buy another one.
Buttttttt with no more stratos I can't find what I want due to not being in so many other brands and always fishing mine.
If I bought a new stratos (2017) what do you guys think the resale would be in the future?
What other brands should I consider?
Or stay with stratos?
Pheonix has the same feel to me, but basscat is really making an amazing boat... cant loose with either. Just wish i had the money to buy either one
resale about the same later with or without stratos around I would guess. warranties are likely over (except motor maybe) and most parts are common to all boats. phoenix is ran by all the leaders who left stratos years ago after bankruptcy

new boat will never have good resale value vs one bought used but only time will tell if Stratos being dead makes them worth more of less.

Phoenix has a lot of similarities with Stratos. Look at the deck lay out, height of the gunnel, overall design and you will see what I am talking about. There were two major players inside the Stratos company (head of sales and head of engineering/design) that left Stratos many years ago. These two people started with Phoenix and helped get the Phoenix brand started. There is a lot of similarities in the two boats if you look at them closely.
