    Yeah if the motor runs and the transom isn't ready to rip off, that's a steal.

    Its a charger. No transom issues there. At least none that i have heard of

    What I was getting at is if there isn't something catastrophic wrong with it. By no means insinuating that Charger has transom issues.

    Your right. Got to check those things out. Those old evinrude were pretty good motors. I had one for 17 years.

    Charger transoms from mid 90 on was built like a tank glass 7/8 Marie plywood glass 7/8 Marie plywood glass 7/8 Marie plywood glass.Full 4 inches of totally saturated wood which is know as a composite.

    So Jerry...the Charger transom was 4" Thick with multiple sheets of 7/8 Marine grade plywood/glass put together
