Pros/cons? Good fishing platform? Fast w/a 200? Thanks

They're going to be good boats and most are around the 70+ mark with a 200

I have a 98 PII with the factory deck extension.
Great fishing platform, plenty of storage, great ride.
    I have a 200 on mine and run 72.
I really have no cons, very happy.

    I have a 94 with a 150 great boat and fishing platform.
Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

Great platform but the early P2’s had flatter hulls which rode rougher depending on conditions. I also would prefered the analog gauges vs the BCB digital, had both and didn’t have any issues with the digital but also didn’t keep it long enough. If one piece failed the whole thing failed as opposed to just replacing a single failed gauge. OAL build quality is top notch, very durable boat. The P3 was my favorite and last of the custom bench seating.

2000 P3 and love it. Deck w/extension is more than enough for me. Fastest I have been is 69mph but havent really tried to take her faster. Stable boat in the Ca Delta for sure

1996 P -classic with 150HP...only wish is that it was single console and a NEW 200 HP...outperforms many boats 20 years newer...

I will definitely agree with you on the 200, maybe one day. Its still a fun boat to drive with the 150.

Yes I have great holeshot and run 56-58 with a two man tourney load so no complaints on performance with a 150...but would like to find 70 MPH in the old boat :)

I can get 58-61 out of mine with what I consider a load. I’m like you, I want to run her with the 200.

I do love my old PII. I think the best I’ve seen out of it is 64. It’s a blast to fish out of though, that’s all that really matters.
