Im 5'10" the pole is 55" high my area has a lot of trolling motor only lakes and its nice to have the pole to hold into to winch boat up. The cap is a freeze out plug for a engine block and just a piece of steel I had lying around. I also built a pole and side steps for a buddys triton. The older I get the less grace full on my feet I am. LOL

Will the regular Easy Steps work on a EZ Loader swing away tongue as long as I don't use it?

Problem I have found is they make them boat and trailer specific. They may make one close enough it can be made to fit,but it will be a crap shoot whether it will work perfectly for an older brand of boat or not. If I stay well enough to work in my shop,I can just build mine. If easy step knows which one fits or can be easily made to fit mine,I would just pony up and pay there price. Around 375.00 to 500.00.
