    new fix for the yamaha sho LOWER UNIT.

    Looks bad ass!

    Looking at this mod, I'd be skeptical about how much weld is actually holding that cone on. Unless you grind down into the lower unit itself where the welds are to tie the two pieces together, I cant see there being much weld holding it together after its all grinded down smooth. Would like to see more pics of the welds before and after grinding and before paint is applied.

    Hope your motor height is high enough for the crescent to surface. That thing is long enough to cause some serious attitude changes unless running parallel to the water.

    I cant keep blades on props running my SHO even with the pad. If I run above the pad a prop wont last a 1/2 mile.

    PAUL its in the same place, you can look at the third picture . he inserts the long bolt into the housing before he welds it on...

    It does seem like that long nose could dig in and cause some issues
