    Wifi or Bluetooth temp probe

Looking for recommended temp probes. This will be used on either my WSM smoker or Genesis grill.

The maverick will serve you well. You don't have to select the meat, all you care about is temps and high/low. Have not used the 735 BT one but the 733 was flawless for 2 years for me. Worked through a sliding glass door a hallway and 3 walls. Probably 50'

If you want remote readings over 50-75' then you need wifi or one with cloud tech and you leave a second BT device connected to it.

I currently have a Igrill mini. It (the app) has to be erased from my phone and reinstalled sometimes...but all in all its has lasted much longer than any other type that I have tried. Average life of the others was about 6 - 8 months before the probe would go bad...this was with about four to five days a week use..Maverick, Char grill, 2 BGE's, and a few forgotten others...

The RF wireless work better than Bluetooth in my home. Thermoworks smoke and one of the Mavericks I believe are RF. The Smoke has WiFi option but even in my signal impervious house I could use just the RF signal and connect. Pricey but worth it.

I used to use the maverick. This is way easier to use.

I just got a tappecue Wifi Temp monitor. You can check it from anywhere via the cloud using an app on your phone.
Comes with 4 probes, it works extremely well!
