    1986 375v Steering cables

My steering cables broke this past weekend and I got them out today. Anyone know how to properly measure these?

Found this number, Morse 300619-000-0144.0, does the 144.0 at the end mean it's 12 ft. cables?

I eneded up getting the NFB system. Sorry, forgot to respond back to this. Installed them last week and fished a tournament this past weekend. Night and day difference from the old cables.
