    prop size for P2

I just re powered my 2008 P2 with a 2018 200 PROXS. Any recommendations on props and sizes? I’m leaning toward the 25 fury but want to see if anyone has any suggestions.

That's probably the most popular PII prop used.

If you run typically heavy then the 25 Fury is your prop. If you typically run light then you MIGHT need a 26P Fury. The Fury4s are great props too.

I ran a 3 blade Fury 25p and depending on the weather/temperature and load we'd run 70-74mph. (typically 70-71). Ran a 26p but didn't gain any top end mph...just lost 200rpm. Didn't change holeshot too much...but 25p definitely felt like the better choice for me.

I used to run a 26 Fury, fast prop had it to 73 but holeshot was lacking. 25 would probably be the ticket. I run a 25 hi 5 most of the time now, I just like the holeshot and the handling plus it suits a lot of the bigger water I fish.

My son in law has a new 2017 P-II here are the numbers we've seen so far.

--24 Fury, on the limiter at 5850, break neck hole shot and excellent handling. 71.9 top end no matter what load we put in it. It is a superb setup!!
--25 Fury, on the limiter at 5850, very, very good hole shot and excellent handling. 73 mph top end with full load. Probably the best all around setup
--26 Fury, 5800 rpm's, very good hole shot but noticeably slower than the other 2. 74.5 mph Top end with full load. Fishing alone mostly or lighter load this is what I'd run
--27 Trophy, 5600 rpm's, good hole shot but slower than the fury's. 73 mph top end. Not the best prop for this setup. Great lift and fuel efficiency though.

Each setup is different and these are real life honest numbers in the summer time. I haven't been in it since it's cooled off but he's still learning to drive and said he was running 73 mph this past weekend with live wells full with the 25 Fury.

Shap, his 25 Fury numbers are comparable to mine. I can get a touch over 74 light and run at least 72 pretty much anytime loaded.
