    GatorBaks

Alright guys I sold my 920 back in July and took the brand new GatorBaks off intending on buying another Phoenix well I wound up going with a Bass Cat. Now I have a brand new par of bunks on brand new treated lumber I need to get rid of going to be easier if it’s somebody around me shipping would probably be outrageous. Anyway I would take 250 for them if anybody wants them.

Claude at Marine Master said all the 900 series Boats have the same bunk lengths.

I'm just curious, what made you pick the Caracal at 19 1/2' with a 225 vs. another 920 with a 250?

To be honest I couldn’t really tell you I have always liked Bass Cat the way they ride. I thought hard and was probably going to with a 919 but got to looking at the Caracal the boat is smaller but the layout is big I had my 920 slam full and everything fit in the Caracal with a lot of room left it’s a lot bigger than it looks on paper. Then after talking to Cougar and Puma owners that dropped down to the Caracal and love it I figured there must be something to it. The biggest decision on going to another brand was my deck box leaking issue just couldn’t see taking the chance on spending that kinda money and have that issue again it cost me quite a bit of money in tackle loss. Loved the ride and layout of my 920 don’t get me wrong and customer service was awesome just decided to finally go with a Cat this time.

Actually the Caracal is the same length as a 919 at 19'8". It it narrower than a 919?

It feels just as wide as my 920 was maybe wider either that or it has something to do with the TM peddle being up on the nose.

Pretty sure the Caracal and 919 have the same width though I thought the Caracal front deck was a couple of inches longer

Ya, the Jaguar picture show that it's farther forwards. That can be good. The Pantera and Caracal dealer pictures that are available to me don't show the foot pedal.

I don't remember what the 919 front deck length is, and I don't have the specs on the Bass Cat boats.

    D) 78" from console to edge of bow shroud on centerline.

    Same beam at 96".

    Same hull length at 19'8".

weight - Bass Cat is 25 pounds less.

nothing I found shows any other info like deck length, either front deck or rear deck. A dealer should know, or be able to walk to a boat and measure.

The Caracal appears to carry its width further forward than the 919, Just looking at the two.

    Congrats on the new boat.

They have the same bean but basscat goes farther forward. Further more, the placement on all cats of the trolling motor pedal makes for more forward room.

Just a question. Does the 920 and 921 have the same bunk length?
