    Thompson Center Compass

I bought a couple of Thompson Center Compass rifles in 308 for $179 after a $75 mail-in rebate. When I got ready to pay the cashier also gave me 10% off additional on each one. So, I ended up with $169 in each after taxes and she told me Dick's would send me a $20 coupon in the mail.

All that was in the store was .30-06 or 308, but salesman said they could order other calibers.

Now, I have to remember to send in the rebates...

I picked up the 308 as well put a new Nikon on it and I'm ready to sight it in. Have you shot yours? What do you think of it? My first Thompson, but have several S&W firearms, so I'm sure it is a quality weapon.

I put a Nikon ProStaff on mine. Haven't shot it yet. I have a Thompson Pro Hunter with a .25-06 barrel and a 209x.50 muzzleloader barrel for it. It has always been a good gun.
