Thats the way that a Fortrex looks on a MtnHm 202. If you use existing holes, it pushes the trolling motor out past edge of boat.

Mr Gambler is just kidding he knows I am old and retired. He’s not trying to hi jack anything. But I will tell you if I was still on the business and you brought your boy in my shop and it had two TM’s on itI could make a cover for it and it would fit like a glove. Text me st 559 696 7966 and text you back of my own boat and a cover I made.

Mr Gambler, you need to PM RipBait67 rather then hijack the thread ...
    Because he owns a Gambler?

I sent him pictures and measurements before ordering the cover.

Received the cover and it was wrong so I sent him more pictures showing the errors and also marked on the cover in pencil the issues per his request. Then I shipped the cover back to him at my expense.

Almost a month had gone by, and I heard nothing so I called him. He said they forgot about it and would work on it right away.

A couple weeks later I received it and it was still wrong so I sent him more pictures. He said send it back to him again.

I paid to have it shipped once to me, then I paid again to have it shipped back to him. I mentioned soooooooo many times to him that I had a fortrex 52" trolling motor and it was very important that the cover was made to fit this. It was rainy season and my boat had gone far to long with no cover. I was done with it at that point and just kept the cover. I ordered from Deans because they are so highly spoken of on this forum. I have no doubt that they can make an awesome cover because I've seen many pics. However, with all due respect, the one they made for my 202 is not one of them unfortunately.

Mine fit perfectly the first time and is still in great shape 10 years later. When I bought my Terrova I got the slide mount to make it fit under the cover.

It's all good. I'm just going to keep this cover until it's not usable anymore, then order another one from somewhere else. I'm not the only one who had these problems going off the replies in this thread.

I priced having a 'custom' one locally made by a canvas shop but spotted one on the 'sale' ($50!) shelf at Costco that was 'close' to the right size before I took it in to him. While the Costco one is heavy enough and is well made, it fits like crappola. REALLY wish I had taken it in and had the custom one made for it...

I had a local build my cover with material that they make "sunbrella" with. I couldn't be happier with the result fits great.
