    Are Mercury and Quicksilver gear lube the same?

    My certified Mercury dealer was out of Mercury high performance gear lube but had Quicksilver high performance gear lube. I have been told it is the same just different packaging. Is this true or is there a difference between the 2? Thanks

    Yep...same manufacturer, same plant, same ingrediants.....different packaging. Mercury is for dealers. Quicksilver is for retail outlets. Same stuff.
